I have been teaching fifth grade at Stanton Community Schools since 2008. I was previously a teacher for Osceola Public Schools in Osceola, Nebraska, and the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center in Columbus, Nebraska.
I am originally from Wisner, Nebraska and graduated high school there in 2000. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2004 and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College in 2012.
My husband, Matt, works for Stanton State Bank. We have two children, Logan and Noah. My favorite subjects to teach are social studies and math. My hobbies include reading historical fiction or crime mysteries, watching sports, or participating in autism advocacy events.
